Wolf Buddy and Darwin Buddy are the newest liveaboards to be given permits to dive the Galapagos Islands. These sister ships offer cutting edge facilities and a superb level of service. 120ft in length they are each powered by two 600hp Caterpillar engines via a jet propulsion system rather than traditional propellors, giving a cruising speed of 12 knots.
A crew of ten look after 16 guests, accomomdated in 8 luxurious cabins. 4 cabins are located on the upper deck, with large panoramic windows giving wide views of the passing scenery. 3 more cabins are located on forward on the main deck, and another 2 below decks. Despite having 9 guest cabins
the boat only caters for 16 divers, so there is always the chance of getting a cabin to yourself! On the upper deck there is a large sun deck with loungers
and a jacuzzi while on the main deck a large air conditioned saloon
with seperate dining area and comfy lounge
is the perfect spot to relax between dives. From the buffet and bar plenty of delicious food and drink are served. All the interior areas of the boat are air conditioned and each cabin has an ensuite bathroom and ample storage
space for your personal items.
The dive deck is not only covered but heated in case your tootsies get a bit chilly! Diving is done from tenders but there are gear bins and seating on the dive deck for stowage of dive gear and ease of kitting up. There is a large camera table for photographers to tinker with their equipment and charging facilities on tap. A shower is also located on the dive deck so you can rinse off after your dive.
Both boats offer 7 night cruises with a minimum of 3 days at Wolf & Darwin.
