Paradise Dancer is the
largest yacht in the Dancer Fleet; at 188ft in length and of wooden construction is a three masted schooner with a "slight" Indonesian phinisi style!
Because of her size and the fact that she only accomodates 18 guests, the cabins and common areas are vast, and sumptuously appointed! 8 deluxe suites, each some 180-sq ft in area, can be found on the lower deck. Each can be configured as a double room or with two single beds, and have en suite bathrooms and have individual air conditioning controls. Each cabin is tastefully decorated and features hardwood walls, TV and DVD player. At the stern of the main deck is the "Master & Commander" suite, 470sq ft in area, and having a double bed, separate sitting room area, en suite bathroom and panoramic windows. It is surely the largest and most luxurious cabin on any dive boat anywhere in the world!
The main deck also houses the well equipped galley, a quiet library room with computer areas for those who wish to fiddle with their digital images and a spacious saloon where meals are taken and you can relax between dives.
The forward section of the main deck contains the dive centre and dive deck, sahded from the tropical sun by a large awning. Diving is done off one of Paradise Dancer's two tenders.
There are also plenty of open air and shaded deck areas where you can relax al fresco!
One of the great experiences of diving on a yacht is when the sails are up, and Paradise Dancer is no exception! With 3 masts and plenty of canvas, the crew of Paradise Dancer will take every opportuninty to hoist the sails on longer journeys between dive sites, invoking nostalgic feelings, we are sure!
Paradise Dancer dives two different areas of Indonesia; from October to March she is based in Sorong, and dives Raja Ampat, and from April to September will be in Manado, diving the critter-laden sites of Lembeh Straits and the reefs of the Bunaken and Bangka islands, as well as the Sangihe Islands to the north. All trips are 11 nights in duration, with 9½ days diving. Please contact us for a schedule of departures.
