Marlin1 is a 50ft liveaboard catering for divers on a shoestring!
But having said that she has all the toys you would expect from
a quality liveaboard! Mechanical stablisers allow for maximum comfort
while at anchor and on the move, there's a desalinator for unlimited
freshwater, the latest electronics and satellite positioning system
and satphone for communications at sea, air-conditioning to all
three of the twin berth cabins, a 12.5kva & 6.5kva generator
for 24 hour 240v power and a Bauer K14 compressor & banks for
airfills.
Marlin1 is based in Alotau and offers 10 day scheduled dive trips
on demand. She sails with ammaximumof 6 divers, a minimun of 2.
The trips depart Alotau at 0600 hrs on the advertised day of departure,
but you can boardthe boat the evening before departure if required.
She returns to Alotau at 1800 on the advertised return day and you
will be accommodated for the night at Masurina Lodge ready for your
flight the next morning. Included in the price is pick-up and return
to Gurney airport at Alotau, all accommodation on the boat and the
last night at the Lodge, all meals, towel, bedding, weightbelts,
tanks and air-fills.
Alcohol and soft-drinks are not inclued, but you any take your
own or give us your order in advance and we will endevour to get
it onboard for your trip! Neither BCs, regulators,computors, wetsuits,
masks nor fins are available to hire on board.

Standard Itinerary
Marlin1's standard itinerary (subject to weather conditions) is
as follows:
DAY 01: Dive the wreck of the Muscoota,
Samari wharf and China Strait area.
DAY 02: Diving with the gentle giants
at the manta ray cleaning station and other nearby reefs.
DAY 03: Last dive with the mantas,
then off to Grant Island area and the P38 aircraft weeck at Basilaki
Island.
DAY 04: Nuakata Island area including
Black and Silver Reefs, Trish's Bommie, Bob's Bommie, Tunnel Reef,
Jason's Reef, Peer's Reef and Boirama Reef to name a few.
DAY 05: Banana Bommie and Boia Boia
Waga Island area and Cobb's Cliff.
DAYS 06 - 09: Dinah's Beach, Deacon's
Reef, Basilisk Point, Sponge Heaven, Kathy's Corner etc
DAY 10: Return to Alotau, diving all
the way!
