Accommodation in Rurutu is limited in both quality and quantity.
There are no 5-star luxury resorts here! We now excusively
use the services of Pension Manotel, about 1½ miles
south of Moerai. Owned by Yves Gentilhomme, this charming
little pension consits of just 4 bungalows, each with double
and single bed, en suite bathroom and private shaded balcony.
The stunning white beach is about 1 minute's walk from the
bungalows. After a hard day chasing whales relax and enjoy
a cool drink as you listen to the waves lapping on the beach.
