| Turks & Caicos Aggressor |
| |
| The Turks & Caicos Aggressor is a 100ft aluminium
dive boat that was refitted in February 1999, accommodating just
14 guests in 6 cabins. Harboured in Providenciales (or Provo for
short) for most of the year, she is based in Grand Turk from January
to March, when she offers whale watching trips to the Silver &
Mouchoir Banks between the Turks Islands & Dominican Republic.
From April to December she runs diving cruises to the western reefs
of Provo, West Caicos, French Cay & West Sandspit.
The main deck contains the large dive deck, with individual gear
lockers. Rinse tanks and a large camera table with low-pressure
hoses are available for your personal use. Giant strides from the
large dive platform afford entry to the water, while custom designed
ladders allow easy exit. Freshwater showers are there at hand to
rinse off after the dive. Forward of the dive deck is the saloon/dining
area, with tables, chairs & comfy sofas. A PC with slide scanner
and email facilities allows you to scan slides that you have processed
on board the boat and beam them back to family & friends! TV,
video & music centre are also located here. The galley is forward
of the saloon and meals are served buffet style from here. Lunch
is often taken upstairs on the sun deck. The captains cabin
& bridge are located forward of the galley.
A stairway from the saloon leads to the lower deck, where the 6
cabins are located. 5 cabins are twins, with a double bed below
and single bunk above, en suite bathrooms, and air-conditioning.
Cabin 2 is a quad cabin, with 4 single bunks and a bathroom located
adjacent, but not en suite to the cabin. There is an excellent discount
on accommodation in the quad cabin. Each cabin has its own TV &
video.
From the dive deck a stairway leads up to the sun deck with shaded
flying bridge and bar, hot tub & open air section with loungers.
For whale watching trips and for excursions ashore the Turks
& Caicos Aggressor has 2 custom designed 15ft chase boats
with 60hp outboards. Each boat can hold 7 divers and their equipment
with comfort.
The Turks & Caicos Aggressor runs 7-night cruises Saturday-Saturday,
from Turtle Cove Marina to the dive sites of the Western Caicos
Islands. No stopovers are required in the US in either direction.
For whale watching cruises and additional flight across to Grand
Truk is required.
